Participant Spotlight: Judith Lanfranco, Day Habilitation

How long have you been in the Day Hab program?

I started in 2004. 

What do you like about Day Hab?

I like the games! I play different games: Uno, dominos, and bingo. They’re so fun. I also volunteer sometimes at Farragut in the school. I like doing that.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like computer games and going in the computer lab. I also like math; I like adding. I like spending money, too. This morning, I went to the store and spent my money, but not too much. 

Do you have friends in Day Hab?

Yes! I have lots of friends. Tiana is my friend, Jared, Jose…They like to play Uno with me. We go out on the weekend sometimes. 

Do you ever go on trips together?

Yes. Next week we’re going to Dave and Buster’s.

What else do you like about Day Hab?

I like learning about different jobs. I want to work at a school one day and be a tutor. I like working with children. I want a job where I can make money.
