The BCS Volunteer Program works with individuals to find the right volunteer opportunity for them.
Whether you are interested in teaching a vocational class, wrapping gifts for students during the holidays, or you simply want to make an impact, individual volunteers help us make Brooklyn a better place. Help us provide vital resources to residents across the borough as an individual volunteer.
Toy Drive
Help us provide #AGiftForEvery Child in BCS Programs.
Tutoring
Invest in a student's academic success by tutoring a student in English or Math.
English-Learning Instruction
Help adults at The BCS Education Center learn English on their pathway to receiving their GED.
Spring into Action
Assist staff with administrative work, organizing historical archives, providing front desk support, and more.
Shower Bus Outreach
The Shower Bus runs on the power of volunteerism! Get involved in bringing hot showers to Brooklyn's homeless community.
