BCS has a new home in Downtown Brooklyn!
Effective Monday, June 22, 2026, Brooklyn Community Services has relocated its main office to 384 Bridge Street, 4th Floor, just one block away from our previous headquarters.
All phone numbers, email addresses, and points of contact remain the same.
While the renovation of our permanent home at 285 Schermerhorn is underway, our new office is just a few blocks away and reflects our continued commitment to serving Brooklyn communities while providing a welcoming space for staff, partners, and stakeholders.
We look forward to continuing this work together and welcoming you to our new space! 💙
✨ BCS STAFF SPOTLIGHT! ✨
Meet Sadaf Sheikh, Program Director at BCS's O'Dwyer Gardens Community Center.
Sadaf takes immense pride in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for the center's youth and families.
“I enjoy building meaningful relationships with participants and seeing them grow more confident, engaged, and successful over time. One of the best parts of my day is hearing the participants’ giggles and laughter throughout the program,” says Sadaf.
Since many of the community center participants are young people, Sadaf makes it her mission to ensure they know that she and the BCS team are rooting for them and genuinely care about their growth, success, and well-being.
“My goal is to leave a lasting impact by helping young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and understand that their voice, dreams, and future matter.”
Our BCS team does vital work that strengthens and develops Brooklyn. We are grateful for employees like Sadaf, who spark growth by fostering community, resilience, and care in every participant they encounter.
