After-School Education

BCS’s child and youth after-school programs support students (K-12) and give them a greater opportunity to succeed in future academic, social and economic endeavors.

Gary Klinsky Children’s Centers (GKCC)

Gary Klinsky Children’s Centers  [Bedford Stuyvesant, East New York, and Brownsville]. GKCC supports young students (K to 5) through afterschool and summer programs that prepare them for middle school.  These afterschool programs provide 3 ½ hours a day of additional class time using a thematic curriculum that supports academic enrichment with STEAM and literacy programming. The summer programs provide 5 to 10 hours of similar academically enriching activities.
